Climate Control
The interface was to be structured more clearly and allow the adjustment of the new electric air vents. I created UX concepts till the first reveal on LA Autoshow.
Starting situation
Concept screens
We have created many concept variants, especially in the early project phase up to the first release of the concept car. In addition to the digital fan control, we structured the content more clearly.
Since many customers didn’t understand which functions are affected by automatic climate control, we grouped all functions which are controlled automatically as soon as the user press on Auto.
Reveal
The climate concept was presented at the LA Autoshow with a few adaptions and the integration of the Volkswagen skin.
